Terms and Conditions

PAYMENTS

By making payment, Client hereby agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

A date cannot be held without a retainer fee and the requested date will still be open to other enquiries. Bookings are only secured with a retainer payment. This is 30% of the total Service charge and is non-refundable. Full balance payment must be made to the makeup artist on the day of the booking, immediately after the service has been rendered.  

CANCELLATIONS

All changes to a booking, must be made by the client only.

Payments for work that has already been carried out is non-refundable.

Additional services can only be accepted if time/resources allow.

If you need to postpone or change the date of your booking for reasons that are unforeseen/not in your control or for any other reason, 24artistry will allow for one date change only (subject to availability). Thereafter a new booking with retainer payment would be required.

In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking completely, the 30% retainer fee would not be refunded. Any cancellation made less than 3 hours to the agreed time attracts a fee of N2000 for all inconveniences.

In the Unlikely event that 24artistry is unable to make your booking appointment due to personal emergency, act of God or severe illness, 24artistry will try to find you an alternative, highly recommended makeup artist  or a refund of 100% of costs already paid by the client.

TIMINGS AND EFFICIENCY

To carry out work efficiently, 24artistry will need a minimum of; a table/flat surface to set up on and chair to carry out services. 

15 minutes is allotted to set up and be ready in time to start services. If suitable conditions are not provided delays cannot be held responsible for if time is lost due to this. 15 minutes is also allotted for packing up.

Makeup Duration – 90mins after Setup, preferably after hair has been completed or hair prep finished.

24artistry will not be held responsible if the hair products/hair used on you messes up the makeup. This is why Makeup is best applied after hair has been completed or at most – Hair prep.

24artistry reserves the right to refuse to work if a client, family member or friend is rude, aggressive, upsetting or abusive in any way. Unfortunately, no refunds will be made to the client if this occurs.

Every hour of lateness from the client attracts an additional charge of N1000 which would be added to the total service charge.

Clients with pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, etc) are to keep them inside a pet carrier/cage or put them away before the artist arrives to prevent any interruption of the makeup application process.

PRODUCTS/SENSITIVITIES

24artistry cannot be held liable for sensitivities, allergies or skin/medical conditions that may affect the use of their products.

The client must inform their makeup artist of any allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions before any services are carried out. This includes before/during the trial and after if any sensitivities/problems have been found.

Discount will not be given if you want to use your own products on the day. We also cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the product.

24artistry does not offer makeup application services on clients with extreme skin conditions/problems.

TRAVEL

An approximate charge is given, if there’s a price increase with Travel services, this will be fed back to client for reimbursements.

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO COPYRIGHT

Photographs and videos are taken for use on the 24artistry website, Social Media & Marketing. If you do not want any images taken please let 24artistry know.
